Christopher Metrakos leads Ontario Teachers’ Natural Resources team, which is focused on building a diversified portfolio across agriculture, energy, mining, and timberland. He joined the organization in 2014 and previously focused on the energy sector. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’ Chris spent approximately ten years with a leading unregulated energy company, investing in energy and retail customer businesses across North America and internationally. He started his professional career in corporate finance, and previously held roles at two global investment banking firms in Toronto and London.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Economics, from McGill University and is a CFA charterholder. He also has ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
